8 weeks Mindfulness Course

This is an 8 week program where students learn to practice and integrate the foundations of Mindfulness. The course is made up of eight, two-hour sessions, and will include mindfulness meditation practices, gentle stretches and movement, group discussion, home practice assignments, and guided audio practices. There is also a full-day retreat that will include a selection of soothing practices, a silent lunch, an afternoon of meditation and tea. The course includes meditation audios and a workbook.

Mindfulness Based Cognitive Therapy, MBCT is included in the NHS NICE guidelines and is increasingly used in therapeutic practice. It is specifically useful in dealing with Stress, Anxiety and Depression.

Yoga Classes

The yoga classes include the essentials of Hatha Yoga. We learn the postures of yoga called asanas and the sequence of the sun salutation (Surya Namaska), the breathing techniques (Pranayama) with relaxation and meditation.

The styles that I teach include hatha, flow, restorative  & yin, pregnancy and post-natal yoga.

Mindfulness Classes

These sessions explore and consolidate the methods of Mindfulness. Suitable for beginners who want to learn the techniques as well as for practitioners who wish to revisit, develop and solidify their own practice. Students are supported to establish an independent home-based practice. The techniques are taught in a simple and practical way.
