Foundations of Mindfulness

Join me on an in-depth journey into Mindfulness. This 12 weeks course encourages students to develop insight into their thoughts, their emotions, sensations and behaviours. It centers on learning the fundamentals of Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction. Techniques such as mindful sitting and mindful walking can help us to become more focused, relaxed and present.
Scientifically researched benefits of Mindfulness Training include:

- more compassion to oneself and others
- improved concentration and creativity
- greater self-awareness
This course is a courageous path to embark on. It is an exciting one. Although the techniques are simple, their integration can have a profound effect and a long lasting one. Each week I will invite students to a homework assignment. This usually consists of 10-30min daily practice. Commitment to home practice allows students to deepen their experience of Mindfulness and own it. All welcome.
